The Most Trusted Tree Service in Alexandria, VA

Mike from 23 Trees showed up same day for an estimate. He emailed me the estimate and proof of insurance that same evening and was able to book and complete the work within ten days. The crew showed up on time, was very professional and beat all my expectations for the work they did. They gave the best price beating out their closest competitor by $400 and the highest competitor by over $2k. They also promised to beat any other offer that came under theirs. Beyond all that, they were the only company that sent proof of insurance with their estimate and Mike was the only representative of any company that shook my hand and thanked me after we talked about the scope of work. When you’re old school like I am, a handshake means a lot. There is another tree on the property that might need to come down in a couple of years and I would 100% use 23 Trees for that job as well. I would highly recommend this team for any job in the NoVa area and I really don’t understand why you’d use anybody else. Pics attached before, during and after, two GIGANTIC and ancient dead/dying oak trees. Thanks guys!

I hired 23 Trees for a tree service project and was very impressed. The team was professional, efficient, and truly brought my vision to life. They offered great design ideas, stayed on schedule, and the results were beautiful. Highly recommend them for anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor space.

Very professional company with competitive rates. I highly recommend them for any tree services. Showed up on time and performed tree removal fast. Cleaned up after job. Perfect service.

23 trees is a great company! Mike was very communicative for an estimate and then to schedule our services. He made sure we were happy with the trimmings of the tree. We would hire them again!

Mike and 23 Trees are amazing. We had a very tall old pine that suddenly started leaning over. We contacted several tree services, and Mike was the first to reply, sending a detailed quote and proof of insurance. He offered to reschedule their work and come within 24 hours to take care of, and they did an efficient and perfect job for a very reasonable price. Absolutely the best tree service we've ever hired--thanks, Mike!

I had an outstanding experience with 23 Trees. Their quick response, affordable prices, and effective communication really stood out. As a landlord, I particularly valued them sending pictures of the finished work. Mike deserves special mention for his exceptional service. He didn't hesitate to return for a second cleanup when some trimmings were left behind due to the rain. Overall, I'm delighted with the job they did and would rate them a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars.

Mike was awesome to work with! Helped out my Scout Troop with some stump removal at the last minute after manual methods failed. Super communication and service. Highly recommended

Great company, called one day and they were out here the next day to remove 4 trees. They were prompt and showed up when they said they would and did an excellent job of removing the trees and cleaning up all the debris and leaving the place looking like they weren't even there. And price wise, they are very reasonable and easy to work with. Can't say enough good things about them.

Mike and his crew removed an old maple tree in my front yard. The whole process only took an hour. Wow! If you need to remove a tree in Northern Virginia, go with 23 Trees.

Had a big and somewhat difficult job - 20 trees on a sloped properly with several hanging over the house. Crew showed up promptly each of 4 days, took care with the property, and were very hard working. Mike worked with me on price, which really helped me out. I highly recommend them!!

Easy to schedule and communicate. Nice equipment! Entire crew was wonderful. Even gladly helped my neighbor with a few cuts on her tree.

Great experience with this company from start to finish. Excellent communication throughout the whole process. The team showed up on time (actually a little early) and did an excellent job and so fast! Clean up was excellent too. I'd absolutely use them again and highly recommend them!

Awesome from start to finish. Responded immediately when requested an estimate, came out quickly to provide a quote, and scheduled service within a short period of time. Showed up on the schedule day and I was amazed at how fast they did the work. Great, friendly service!

Very professional company with competitive rates. I highly recommend them for any tree services. Showed up on time and performed tree removal fast. Cleaned up after job. Perfect service.

The 23 Trees team is top notch! After dealing with a mess of red berries for two seasons, I emailed on a Monday to have a cluster of mulberry trees removed from my patio. By that afternoon, 23 Trees came out and gave me a quote. By Tuesday at 1:30pm, they had already completed the work. The quote was very reasonable and the team went above and beyond! They even trimmed down some stumps from where I had removed some smaller trees last season! I couldn't recommend them any higher. Great service! Great work! Great people! I would refer them to anyone looking to have trees removed!

Outstanding service! Very impressed with this team. Mike responded to our request to quote and was at the house the next day. Good price and the team did an excellent job trimming three mature maple trees in a very tight space. See the before (with the yellow marks) and after pics. Very satisfied!

Highly recommend 23 Trees! You can’t beat their prices and they sure did a great job! These guys work really hard and went above and beyond to ensure everything was done exactly as I requested. I was on a tight budget and they definitely did more trimming than I was charged for so I was truly grateful. They were quick and the work area was spotless when they left. You can tell they take great pride in their work, great experience from start to finish!

Fantastic to work with. They provided the lowest quote of several we requested from other companies. It was a very detailed and clear itemized written estimate, furnished along with proof of insurance, both of which alot of landscaping companies struggle with. The manager was very easy to communicate with. They arrived promptly at 8 am both days as scheduled, cut down the tree, ground the stump, removed the debris, smoothed out the area and left everything looking great. They used state of the art modern equipment which impressed me. True professionals.

Excellent service from Mike and his team. My car was stuck in 7 inches of ice and the team got out within a few hours of my request and were done in the blink of an eye. Mike is very professional and excellent communication. I highly recommend 23 Trees

I was really impressed at the quick service that was completed for my stump removal. Other 5-Star companies were going to have me wait more than a week, but this company came the very next morning, gave me a free estimate, and then they came the following morning to remove the stump. The price was so much better than I expected. I highly, highly recommend this service!

23 Trees did an excellent job for us today! Their pricing was fair, the service was outstanding, and they left everything clean and tidy when the work was completed. Professional, efficient, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Mike and his project manager Gissel did a fantastic job with our tree removal. We had some bigs boys (trees) in our backyard. We also had a minor mishap and his PM was able to fix the issue relatively quick, 1 day turnaround. Highly recommend!

I can't compliment Mike and his crew enough for their service. They are convenient to book, at an unbeatable price, show up on time and do a fantastic job very quickly.

I have a 30yo crypt Myrtle that I pruned for years to keep the # of large limbs to a minimum
I opt to longer climb the tree to remove all the thin shoots from over the years
It was a lot of thin trash limbs

Professional company all around. Responded promptly with a very reasonable quote. Maintained good communication. Still came out today, the scheduled day, and completed the work despite impending snowstorm! Tree trimmed looks great, exactly what I requested. Pulled some bushes, and left the area clean. Seamless. Would highly recommend.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND using 23 Trees!! After the recent snowstorm, we had 2 large trees in danger of falling onto our house. Mike came out within an hour to assess and provide an estimate for removing them. We decided to also remove 5 additional trees that were at risk of falling. Mike gave a very fair price, and he was able to get his crew out early the very next morning to do all the work. They arrived on time, worked quickly and professionally, and did an awesome job cleaning up all of the branches and debris from the yard. We will definitely use 23 Trees again for any additional work, and will not hesitate to recommend them to everyone!

Excellent, timely services. Delivered exactly what was promised quickly and cleanly, and about 1/2 the cost of the several other quotes I received. (Similar service from them about a year ago - but forgot to leave a review then...)

Cannot be more grateful for this company. I requested a quote online and received a very prompt follow-up to come provide an estimate. In fact, I had to push out our meeting because of some personal issues but when I called back there were no delays, we picked up where we had left off. During that lag there was no pressure at all. Once they came out for the site visit I had a written estimate, with photos and the certificate of insurance in my email and via text in a few hours.

The prices were more than competitive and fair, as I had previously had some estimates provided from others that included less scope. But cheaper doesn't always mean less expensive, because some times you pay on the back end and/or in the frustration of the process. That was not the case with 23 Trees. They had the most affordable estimate and we got done all that we asked for without a bunch of hassles of scheduling delays, unreturned calls, rude employees, etc...

We will definitely be using them for some additional work in the future. One of our neighbors already had them out after hearing about our experience and got some needed pruning done within 2 weeks of our work completion.

Do yourself and your neighbors a favor and call them sooner rather than later!

Mike Pisfil did a great job of cutting down two trees and grinding the two trunks which were very close to stone steps. His professional skill and attention to detail made a challenging job looked easy. I was relieved that Mike removed both trunks without damaging the stone steps. Strongly recommend 23 Trees to anyone who needs tree cutting, trunk grinding services.

They did a great job for a great price, in a timely manner, with respect to the property.
